Safety Sweep is a full service line locating company based out of Bonnyville, Alberta.
We provide 3rd party "sweep" line locating services for any kind of ground disturbance, as well as Alberta One Call management and response for construction projects as well as for pipeline and utility owners.
All line locator technicians are trained in proper sweep techniques, and provide on site marking, mapping, and safety consulting services to ensure a safe work environment for your dig projects.
Our Mission
Our mission is to ensure a safe work environment through the elimination of all hazards to employees, the environment, and to buried pipelines, communication cables, power lines, and buried oil and gas wells, during ground disturbance activities. Our primary customers are Canadian oil and gas producers, and we also work with construction companies working on any projects, big and small.
What We've Achieved
- Incorporated in 2012, we have served the Lakeland area with many ground disturbance related services.
- Implemented a safe dig program for Cold Lake First Nations, managing Alberta One Call program for all construction projects.
- Provided 3rd party sweeps for residential and comercial construction projects, pipeline construction, road and well site construction.
- Respond to Alberta One Calls for oil and gas producers, telephone and fiber optic companies.
- On site mapping of excavation projects, both hand drawn and Arial photography services.
- Pipeline leak detection services using "flamepack" or comparable devices.
